Today:

Today was the 100th day of school!!!!!!!!!!!

What fun we had!  My heartfelt thanks g to Tawni and Tyson Belliveau who spent the entire day assisting me and the students in celebrating 100 days of school.  With their help, students were able to make a crown, count and string a froot loop necklace, make a paper chain with 100 strips of paper as well as many other activities.

Tomorrow we will take a picture with our crowns, necklaces and paper chain and send it along with the blog.

Thank you to the parents who sent a collection of 100 objects to school.  The objects will be returned later next week as I'd like to display what 100 looks like with different objects.

Students who brought their collection counted with me to 100 by 1s, 5s, 10s, 2s to 20, and 20-0.  If you haven't sent in the collection, tomorrow isn't too late as I still have 8 students to count with.

Tomorrow we will be resuming our literacy centers.  Please remember to send the reading bag and its contents to school each day.
